2011 - So Far...

Make A Wish Trip to San Diego In February, 2011, Aidan and family went on a "Make a Wish" trip to San Diego. To start the process, volunteers Doug and Jessica came to Aidan's house and asked him four questions.
1. Where do you want to go?
2. Who do you want to meet?
3. What would you like to have?
4. What would you like to be? At first Aidan said that he wanted to go to the Galapagos Islands or wanted to meet Paul Sereno. Doug, Jessica, and Mindy exchanged "who's Paul Sereno" looks, then asked Aidan who he was. Aidan told them that he was a famous palentologist.

After discussions, they all settled on an animal encounter in San Diego - at the Zoo, Savanna Park, and Sea World. But first there was a "send-off" party at the Woodland Park Zoo.

Cruising The San Juans Aidan and family joined Papa John and Grandma Judy on the Y'Knot at Fisherman Bay on Lopez Island, Fossil Bay on Sucia, and Friday Harbor on San Juan Island this summer.

Camp Promise Aidan went to Camp Promise, a camp for kids and young adults with muscular dystrophy, for the third time this summer.

Third Grade Aidan's now in 3rd grade at Phantom Lake in Bellevue. He loves school, LOVES reading (His grandmas say, "yeah!".), and has fun with his classmates. He still goes to recess in the office to play legos and games, but sometimes takes his scooter on the playground.
